Last updated: March 8, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Ghana Duty Checker ("the Service"), available at ghduty.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Service Description
Ghana Duty Checker is an online vehicle import duty estimation tool. The Service provides approximate calculations of import duties, taxes, and levies based on publicly available information from the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) Customs Division.
The Service includes VIN-based vehicle lookup, manual vehicle data entry, duty breakdown calculations, and downloadable PDF reports.
3. Disclaimer of Accuracy
All duty calculations provided by the Service are estimates only and should not be relied upon as exact figures. Actual duties payable may differ based on:
- Changes in GRA tariff rates, policies, or classifications
- Customs officer assessments and vehicle inspections
- Exchange rate fluctuations at the time of import
- Additional fees, penalties, or surcharges not covered by this tool
Ghana Duty Checker is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Ghana Revenue Authority. Always verify final duty amounts with GRA or a licensed customs broker before making financial decisions.
4. Account Registration
To use the calculator, you must create an account by providing your first name, phone number, email address, and a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.
5. Token System & Payments
The Service uses a token-based system. Each new account receives 1 free calculation token. Additional tokens can be purchased via Paystack (Mobile Money or Card) in Ghanaian Cedis (GHS).
All token purchases are non-refundable. Tokens do not expire and remain available in your account until used. Prices are subject to change; however, purchased tokens will be honored at the quantity received.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service
- Share your account credentials with third parties
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service

All content, design, code, logos, and branding associated with Ghana Duty Checker are the property of Ghana Duty Checker and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ghana Duty Checker, its owners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial losses based on duty estimates.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, unused tokens may be forfeited.
